Job Description

JOIN THE SHOW:Aria Resort & Casino is actively seeking a versatile Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee multiple outlets within the resort.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in F&B management, preferably with a track record of managing multiple units in a quick-service environment. A background in high-volume operations, especially within Starbucks, would be advantageous.

The outlets under supervision include:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests; coach and train on policies, procedures, andperformance.
  • Supervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staffas well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and FireMarshall Regulations.
  • Directly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issues
  • Assist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menu changes.
  • Ordersupplies through the IP System and Purchasing.
  • Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation.
  • Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly.
  • Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of service experience in a similar environment overseeing multiple outlets.
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT?

  • High volume restaurant management or supervisory experience.
  • Starbucks or Coffee Shop supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of all menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods,glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment.
  • Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Knowledgeable of kitchen operations.
  • Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Proven knowledge of using POS and MS Office.
