THE JOB

As a Surveillance Operator II, you play a crucial role in fostering collaboration between Surveillance and other departments to ensure exceptional service for all guests. Your primary focus is to uphold fairness, safety, and security in the gaming environment by enforcing company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Through vigilant monitoring and adherence to standards, you contribute to a positive experience for both our guests and employees!

THE PAY RATE Starting at $27.00/hr

THE DAY TO DAY

  • Operate CCTV technology and Digital Video Management System (VMS) equipment to monitor casino activities.

  • Monitor all casino areas including Table Games, Casino Cage, Slots, etc., to ensure compliance with policies and identify suspicious activity.

  • Review video footage, document incidents, and share relevant information with sister properties.

  • Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures through training.

  • Utilize facial recognition, license plate recognition, and access control systems as needed.

  • Evaluate players for advantage play and suspicious activities.

  • Analyze data for trends and anomalies.

  • Coordinate with law enforcement and testify in court when required.

  • Maintain confidentiality of surveillance operations.

  • Collaborate with leadership and other departments to enhance guest experience.

  • Assist in monitoring non-gaming areas of the property as directed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • An enthusiastic individual to join our diverse and unified team, working collaboratively to meticulously manage and execute tasks

  • Prior casino surveillance experience is a plus

  • Loss Prevention experience is preferred

  • Ability to work well under pressure in high conflict situations

  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Detailed knowledge of Table Games, Slots, Race & Sports Book and Casino Cage procedures

  • Knowledge of advantage play systems and cheating methods

  • Detailed knowledge of local gaming regulations

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Basic working knowledge of various computer technology and software to include Microsoft Office applications

  • Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a similar role preferred.

  • One (1) year of relevant experience in similar field
