THE JOB

The role ofaFood Dispatcher is tasked with safely and promptly receiving and delivering all food products and equipment to the designated kitchen or event staging area.

THE Starting Rate: $26.02

THE DAY TO DAY

• Receive and deliver all food items and kitchen equipment todesignatedareas for banquet functions promptly and safely, even under pressure.
• Keep and organize banquet event orders to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Read and understand interdepartmental transfer requisitions.
• Follow correct inventory control and receiving procedures.
• Communicate effectively and follow the direction of the Convention Services Team, Room Chefs, and Executive Chef to ensure seamless coordination.
• Perform any other job-related duties asrequired, alwaysmaintaininga professional and proactive approach.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment as well asproficiencyin operating manual and electric pallet jacks/riders, motorized carts, and delivery box trucks
• Prior inventoryand/or warehouseexperienceis a plus.
• Knowledge of computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AS400, Stratton Warren System, Coupa, Amadeus.
• Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• High school diploma or equivalent;previousexperience in a similar role preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Mustpossessthe ability to access all areas of theproperty,withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiencyin basic computer applications.
