The Clinical Administrative Coordinator assists the leadership team and clinical staff for the Division by ensuring that scheduling, tracking and data entry requirements are coordinated to meet the client needs and State and Federal regulations. Coordinates patient calls/requests to meet the needs of the client. Acts as the primary point of contact for incoming calls to the agency and takes the initial responsibility for incoming telephonic complaints or customer concerns. Triages those calls to the appropriate individual for follow up and logs complaints following established company process. Utilizes multiple software programs.

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 7:00am - 4:00pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 2716 N Tenaya Way Las Vegas, NV.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be 7:00am - 4:00pm PST, Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist management and clinicians to ensure the client's care is delivered in a timely manner and in compliance with state and federal regulations for home care through scheduling of patients at time of intake and throughout the certification period in compliance with physician orders.
  • Assist the manager and clinicians to assure home care services including supervisory visits are scheduled and delivered in compliance with state and federal regulations through ongoing audit by monitoring of key reports and scheduling authorizations for on-going visits.
  • Assure high quality customer service to all internal and external customers primarily through telephone communication by answering phone calls from patients and other health care system representatives to coordinate with office and field clinicians.
  • Assist manager to ensure compliance with Human Resource requirements mandated by state and federal regulations.
  • Assist manager with placement of overflow cases to contract agencies. Assure timely and accurate transfer of client information to assist manager through data entry into multiple information systems to assure compliance with state and federal regulations and quality client care.
  • Assist manager to assure compliance and consistency with agency processes.
  • Coordinate and arrange DME and other equipment as requested by clinicians and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of experience working in Medical/Healthcare environment
  • 1+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment handling multiple phone calls
  • Experience with EMR
  • Experience with windows based programs including Microsoft Outlook, Excel
  • Ability to work our normal business hours of 7:00am - 4:00pm PST, Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in home care agency or other decentralized health care environment
  • Experience handling escalated calls
  • Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish
  • Working knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Basic knowledge of home health requirements including regulatory requirements

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
