POSITION SUMMARY: Repair, rebuild, and maintain production equipment such as lathes, EDM's, mills, lasers, blenders, air conditioners, swamp coolers, coating/vacuum furnaces and hydraulic presses.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install precision ball screws and bearings.
- Rebuild pumps (hydraulic and water).
- Replace precision thrust bearings.
- Repair Unihone grit blast machines.
- Maintain plant air compressors.
- Rebuild hydraulic cylinders.
- Troubleshoot Vacuum/Coating furnaces.
- Use hand and power tools efficiently to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot/diagnose problems using symptoms and operator feedback.
- Ensures compliance with Company Repair Station Manual (RSM)/Quality Control Management (QCM). Must be aware of ISO/Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
- Repair furnace components.
- Repair laser components.
- Minor electrical tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Five year's experience working in the field.
- Previous millwright experience.
- Working knowledge of CMMS.
- Must pass job related test.
- Able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose.
