Job Summary:

The Procurement Services' Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying and leading projects designed to significantly improve Light and Wonder's cost structure and build sustained, cumulative value. Projects are transformational in nature, thus requiring strategic thinking, effective problem solving, and an ability to influence diverse teams.

The Procurement Services Senior Sourcing Manager is expected to manage matrixed representatives from other business functions to build strategy and deliver sustainable value to the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate and lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver savings relative to Human Resources, Legal Services, Communications and Marketing, Insurance and Benefits, , Systems, Software Licensing, Hardware, Services partners, Development tools, Digital Marketing, and further adjacent categories.

Information Technology Strategic Sourcing:

• Specific experience in managing categories related to MRO, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Facilities, etc.

• Assist in implementing Global Sourcing strategies for major categories within Procurement Services aimed at achieving net cost savings as well as mitigating short term cost risk.

• Deep understanding of supply, demand and other influences and levers that would support the Procurement Services strategy roadmap.

• Establish global spend visibility to clearly define category spend baselines, current suppliers, and monitor the impact of sourcing initiatives.

• Interface with Finance to link Sourcing savings with budget goals.

• Sourcing strategies should include, but not be limited to, volume aggregation, competitive bidding, low-cost country sourcing, e-Auctions, should-cost models, "preferred supplier" programs, and identification of new suppliers.

• Achieve early wins to build organizational confidence and momentum.

Essential Job Functions:

• Build common purpose with key business functional leaders to create a collaborative approach to supplier relationship management. Ensure that Sourcing addresses the business functional requirements and cost performance.

• Engage with the business functions to identify sourcing opportunities, drive the RFP process and competitive bidding.Ensure that all appropriate supplier documentation and agreements are in place.

• Establish and develop a clear channel of communication and coordination between Sourcing and functional counterparts in the business units.

• Engagement in enterprise-wide projects, and/or new site operations.

Success will be measured based on:

• Sourcing: spend addressed, savings achieved and supplier payment terms.

• Special projects: projects identified, and impact delivered. Prioritization of the most meaningful opportunities and the ability to work cross-functionally are critical to success.

• Quality of strategy development: success in development and deployment of the strategy

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated results in driving cost efficiencies in the Indirect space across multiple categories of spend.

• Deep understanding of levers to identify and unlock opportunities for savings.

• Multiple years of experience as Category Manager, Sr Procurement Manager or Manager in a global manufacturing company, the hospitality sector, gaming, technology, etc.

• Experienced with multi-step strategic sourcing processes across a range of categories.

• Skilled negotiator.

• Experience with leveraged agreements, multi-year, complex contracts, e-Auctions and should-cost models.

• Highly focused on business priorities with a successful record of accomplishments and results-oriented.

• Excellent supplier relationship management skills.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, and highly skilled at assessing and managing priorities.

• Effective communications' skills, both verbal and written.

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must be able to build rapport and trust with cross-functional colleagues and foster a collaborative environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience. Advanced degree is a benefit.

• APICS/NAPM, CPIM or CPM certification or equivalent preferred.

• 5+ years' work experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or directly related fields.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge across Corporate Services such as Marketing, Human Resources, Legal, Travel, Fleet, Communications, and MRO.

• Capable of effectively operating with ambiguity; ability to influence internal stakeholders and supplier relationships.

• Strength in building relationships with internal stakeholders across a wide variety of categories.

• Strong knowledge of the business and long-term strategic goals.

• Superior written and verbal skills.

• Strong customer service skills are required.

• Ability to successfully multi-task is required.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and experience with Business Intelligence tools.
